J.M.Coetzee Nobel Prize Speech
Penguin books prints small, cloth bound, foil stamped editons of the acceptance speeches of the Nobel prize winners. When their own author J.M. Coetzee won the Literature prize, they asked me to do a portrait of him. All his book covers use Tema Cantante as the display typeface. That typeface worked well for the portrait, since he has a very jagged face with a lot of personality.
